LETLHAFULA FOOD FESTIVAL

The letlhafula food festival is usually hosted by the Botswana craft in Gaborone.Botswana is a land rich in culture, with a wide variety of delicious cuisine that includes dishes and drinks, and music and dance. This service idea is dedicated to give the public a day of cultural festivities, celebrating with pride, the ancient food, drinks, music and dance of Botswana.

Letlhafula festival is not just about having fun, feasting and dancing, it is about appreciating Botswana culture and tradition. It is about displaying Botswana’s heritage and culture featuring music dance traditional and indigenous and local cuisine and other exhibits.

The initiate was formed to promote Botswana food and culture which was disappearing. A lot of hard work and preparation goes into this; ploughing crops and harvesting them, storing them and drying the ones that need to be and finally, food and drink preparation. Food and drinks will be accompanied with music and dance during the festival
